Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Small mixing bowl.
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Large Spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs FROZEN MEATBALLS
  • 1 cup BBQ SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup HONEY
  • 1/4 cup SOY SAUCE
  • 2 tbsp MINCED GARLIC
  • 1/2 tsp RED PEPPER FLAKES

Instructions

  • Place your frozen meatballs into the slow cooker. Do not thaw them before starting. Spread them out in an even layer.
  • Grab your small mixing bowl for the sauce. Whisk the BBQ sauce, honey, and soy sauce. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the sauce over the frozen meatballs. Use your large spoon to stir them well. Make sure every meatball is fully covered.
  • Put the lid on the slow cooker tightly. Set the heat to low for four hours. You can also use high for two hours.
  • Stir the meatballs once halfway through cooking. This prevents the sauce from burning on the edges. The sauce will thicken as it heats up.

Notes

  • Use high-quality frozen meatballs for the best meaty texture.
  • Always whisk the sauce before pouring it over the meat.
  • Do not open the lid too often while cooking.
  • Add a splash of water if the sauce gets thick.
  • Garnish with green onions for a fresh, colorful look.
  • Use a liner for very easy slow cooker cleanup.
