Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Baking Dish
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Rubber spatula
  • Oven mitts
  • Kitchen Timer

Ingredients

  • 3 cups CORN
  • 3 large EGGS
  • 1 cup HEAVY CREAM
  • 1/2 cup WHOLE MILK
  • 1/4 cup BUTTER
  • 3 tbsp SUGAR
  • 2 tbsp CORNSTARCH
  • 1 tsp SALT
  • 1/2 tsp BLACK PEPPER

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease your baking dish with a little butter. This prevents the pudding from sticking.

Step 2:

  • Break your eggs into the large bowl. Whisk them until they are very pale. This adds air to the pudding mix.

Step 3:

  • Pour in the heavy cream and milk. Add the melted butter to the bowl. Stir everything together until it is combined.

Step 4:

  • Add the sugar and cornstarch next. Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper. Whisk the batter until it is smooth.

Step 5:

  • Fold in the corn kernels very gently. Use your spatula for this simple task. Make sure the corn is spread evenly.

Step 6:

  • Pour the mixture into your baking dish. Place it in the center of the oven. Bake it for about 45 minutes.

Step 7:

  • The top should be a golden brown. The center should be slightly firm now. Remove it from the oven very carefully.
